Bristol Road, Selly Oak Contract Award
We are delighted to share that Birmingham City Council has awarded us the contract for the design and construction of Highways Infrastructure Works on Bristol Road, Selly Oak.
This two-stage contract will begin with a 7-month pre-construction period (Stage 1), during which we will develop a detailed design for a new designated cycleway running from Chapel Lane to the University of Birmingham entrance on Grange Road. The scheme also includes junction improvements and carriageway resurfacing, with construction works (Stage 2) to follow thereafter.
This project builds on the success of our A45 Cycleway scheme, delivered in collaboration with the same BCC team, and we look forward to working with them again. Stage 1 will be led by Tim Robertson, working closely with our design consultant IPaD, with whom we have successfully delivered the Coombe Field Rd and M6 Junction 2 schemes.
Take a look at the photo collages below showcasing highlights from the A45 Cycle Route, Coombe Field Rd, and M6 Junction 2 projects, each a testament to the collaborative effort and impact behind the scenes.
We are proud to continue contributing to Birmingham’s commitment to sustainable transport and improved infrastructure.
