Burnt Tree new scheme

Following several months of early contractor involvement with Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (MBC), we are pleased to announce that we have recently received an order to deliver the Burnt Tree Junction Phase 2 contract.

This award from one of our long-standing key clients follows the successful delivery of the Dudley Interchange scheme and our ongoing Street Lighting contract.

Valued at £3.2 million, the contract involves extensive modifications to the existing junction to incorporate enhanced cycling facilities. The scope includes:

• Amendments to existing splitter islands
• Carriageway widening
• New footway construction
• Upgrades to traffic signals
• Street lighting improvements

The 9-month project is scheduled to commence in early November.
