Construction News Award Win for Centenary Square Scheme

Fitzgerald are delighted to be announced as category winners at last night’s Construction News Awards online ceremony, seeing off strong competition to be named ‘Project of the Year (under £20m) for our Centenary Square scheme.

Nick Coley, Fitzgerald Contractors Managing Director said: ‘We are very proud to receive this accolade which reflects the collective team effort of all our employees, both site based and head office, whose contributions to providing a great service to our clients has rightly been rewarded’.

Judges commented that Fitzgerald “showcased the close collaboration between the architects, client, and contractors, to drive design and construction efficiencies while maintaining the quality, in what was one of the largest public realm projects in Europe. It demonstrated what early contractor involvement can bring to a project”.
