Gallows Hill Scheme completed for Warwickshire County Council
We’re proud to have delivered the £4.4m Gallows Hill improvement scheme to support major residential and commercial development between Leamington Spa and Warwick.
Completed in April 2024 after 67 weeks of construction, the project included:
- A new signalised crossroads
- Carriageway widening and utility diversions
- New footways/cycleways, lighting, and landscaping
Delivered through WCC’s Europa Way corridor upgrade, the scheme enhances:
- Sustainable travel – safer walking and cycling routes
- Traffic flow – reducing congestion and improving journey times
- Growth – enabling housing, business and leisure development
Our team rose to the challenge despite significant complexities, from coordinating multiple utility providers, to adapting our programme sequencing and building parts of the scheme in reverse to keep things moving. We also sourced material onsite to avoid delays and costs.
This project strengthens our long-term collaboration with WCC, helping to build safer, better-connected communities across the region.
