Major Junction Upgrade in Leamington Spa

We’re proud to share that we’ve secured a £1.9 million S278 scheme through the Warwickshire County Council Construction Works Framework to deliver a new signalised junction on Banbury Road in Leamington Spa.

This essential infrastructure will support the new Taylor Wimpey and Bloor Homes housing development, with construction already underway and a planned duration of 28 weeks.

Scope of Works includes:
– Utility diversions
– Drainage attenuation
– Installation of new traffic signals, signage, and street lighting
– Carriageway widening and improvements
All on a live, high-traffic route just off the M40.

This project reflects our strategic focus on securing key frameworks and larger contracts, maximising the expertise of our directly employed workforce, and continuing to grow sustainably.

Scope of works includes:
– Proven experience on complex, live environments such as our successful delivery of 4 previous schemes in the area on the A452 Europa Way and Gallows Hill
– A collaborative, non-confrontational approach embedded across all our projects
– Proactive planning and preparation, always seeking solutions
– Over 75% of our work comes from repeat clients; a testament to our long-term partnerships and trusted delivery
– Strong commitment to health & safety, sustainability, and community engagement
– Financially resilient, with year-on-year growth.

At Fitzgerald, we turn complex infrastructure into lasting impact for our clients, our people and the communities we serve.
