A441 Kings Norton Highway Upgrade, Birmingham

Kier Living appointed Fitzgerald to construct a new signalised junction together with widening of the A441 Redditch Road and the formation of new access road to serve retail and a residential development currently being built.

The scope of works included utility diversions, earthworks, pavement and carriageway construction, new traffic signs and road markings. The contract was undertaken in a live environment with significant traffic management measures put in place to ensure the safe and efficient flow of traffic throughout the duration of the contract. This was achieved through the utilisation of our in-house planning team who effectively coordinated works, with elements of work such as surfacing being undertaken at night to mitigate disruption.
