Jaguar Land Rover Fen End S278 Works

This scheme involved Section 278 highways works for a new development which will be used by Jaguar Land Rover’s Vehicle Operations Team,. The new facility  near Kenilworth provides Jaguar Land Rover with a single base for their specialist engineers who create and produce special and one-off vehicles. The Section 278 works involved the formation of a new traffic island to facilitate and greatly improve the access to the site.

The works included:
• Site clearance including tree felling
• Excavation and formation of works area
• Drainage works to the whole area of  the new carriageway
• Excavation and formation of new attenuation pond
• Diversion of existing BT and installation of new ducting
• Ducting for street lighting
• Placing of roadstone
• Kerbs and surfacing works to the carriageway and footways
• New street lighting
• Signage and road marking
• Topsoiling, seeding and minor soft landscaping works
