Supporting ‘Free @ Last’ Birmingham Charity

This week Fitzgerald were delighted to provide resources and material to local charity Free @ Last who are located in Nechells, Birmingham, just a short distance from our Head office.

Fitzgerald teamed up with Hanson Surfacing to get involved with Free @ Last as we are currently delivering works nearby on the A45 Sprint highways scheme in Birmingham, one of the largest urban infrastructure projects currently being undertaken in the UK. Our team carried out groundworks and resurfacing of the car parking area which has now revitalised the charity’s headquarters.

Fitzgerald Contractors Managing Director Nick Coley said: ‘We are always looking to contribute to the communities in which we work through social value initiatives. Free @ Last is an excellent charity that improves the lives of the children and young people of Nechells and it was a pleasure to team up with our supply chain partners to help the charity by creating valuable parking and play areas. I’d like to thank all who volunteered their time and skills to carry out the works.’
