Mick has been a valued subcontractor for 33 years, with 27 of those years as an owner driver. His dedication, professionalism, and commitment to safety have made him an integral part of our company and a highly respected colleague across countless projects.
Throughout his time with Fitzgerald Contractors, Mick consistently demonstrated reliability and hard work. He was known for being the first on site and the last to leave, setting the standard for excellence and responsibility. His contribution has been felt across many sites, and he has never once let down his team or the wider company.
As one colleague reflected:
“Mick Round was excavator operator on the first site I worked on when I started at Fitzgerald 19 years ago. Mick has been on many sites over the years and has never once let me, or the wider site team down. Mick was always first on site and last to leave, and was always safety conscious, reliable and hardworking. Wishing you all the best in your retirement Mick, it has been my pleasure to work alongside you.”
On behalf of everyone at Fitzgerald Contractors, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Mick for his decades of service and dedication. We wish him health, happiness, and every success in his retirement.
Congratulations, Mick—you leave behind a legacy of excellence that will not be forgotten.
