Central Square Cardiff Award

Fitzgerald Contractors have secured a £5m scheme to deliver a new public realm scheme in the centre of Cardiff.

The vision for Central Square is that it becomes a proud new Gateway to the Capital of Wales. The revamped Central Square will reflect Cardiff’s ambition to be amongst Europe’s most successful cities. The scheme will incorporate high specification granite finishes, public art, street and amenity lighting, CCTV, Telematics, street furniture and landscaping.

Fitzgerald’s’ Managing Director Nick Coley confirmed: ‘We are delighted to be working again with ISG on such a high profile prestigious contract. Having worked closely with the ISG team over the preconstruction phase of the project it is great to see the scheme progress to site.
